Tasked with the project of creating a video profile/documentary on a person who is changing lives around the world, the choice of subject was easy. A long time mentor, professor, employer, and friend; Dirk Dallas, known online as @dirka, was the perfect subject. Given only three weeks, this video profile was conceptualized, cast, filmed and edited under a tight deadline in complete secrecy (as it was for Dirk’s class). The piece was shot on Canon 5D Mark III with a basic 3-point light setup in studio. Project was edited and color graded in Adobe Premiere Pro.
